Mrs. Belinda Cuddeback, widow of the late Simeon Cuddeback, died at the home of her son, Stephen Cuddeback, near Milford, Sunday evening [1/10/1892], aged 83 years. Mrs. Cuddeback was a victim of the prevailing malady, the grip.
Mrs. Cuddeback was a daughter of James and Lydia Westbrook Bennet, who resided in Montague, Sussex county, N.J. She was the youngest of the family and the last survivor. In 1831 she became the wife of Simeon Cuddeback.
About 38 years ago Mr. Cuddeback and family removed to the farm near Milford, which has since been the family home. Mr. Cuddeback died six years ago.
Mrs. Cuddeback leaves five sons and one daughter – Stephen, at the old home; James, of Port Jervis; Henry, in Michigan; Thomas V. and Frank, of Ohio, and Lydia, widow of Hudson Van Etten, of Port Jervis.
She was a sister of the late Hon. James Bennet, of the Port Jervis Gazette."
