6319. Dr Gouverneur Emerson MD
Hello,
My name is Eldridge Ryans and I am writing a research paper on a Bishop John Mifflin Brown Through my research I believe I discovered one of your distinguished relatives His name was Dr Gouverneur Emerson, MD (1796-1874) This is a fair amount of published material authored by Dr Emerson of Philadelphia
Apparently, Bishop John Mifflin Brown lived with Dr Emerson in the 1830's when he was a boy a received an education in exchanges of chores and errands The fact that this may be significant is that John Mifflin Brown was a free born African-American who later distinguished himself in the African Methodist Episcopal Church
If you have this information, I apologize for being redundant

"Milton Dimmick Mott was the longtime publisher of the Dispatch and held various public offices. He was born in 1852 to an old Milford family and lost his father when he was 12 years old. His father's early death forced the young man to take odd jobs in the newspaper, where he learned the printer's trade. After working for several county newspapers, he was able to purchase the Herald and renamed it the Dispatch. Under his guidance, the Dispatch became one of the premier county newspapers in the commonwealth."
